#841 Miami, FL +4.5 over Virginia Tech 8:00 PM CT

It has not been a strong season for the ACC and Jim Larranaga is on his way to another disappointing season at Miami. The Hurricanes have as many conference wins as last season already however and have played its best in the past week with consecutive wins. Miami does have an ACC road win and has had to play mostly heavyweights on the road taking losses at Louisville, Duke, and Florida State in ACC road games. Miami won by 10 hosting Virginia Tech with a big edge in rebounding and interior scoring and those advantages should again show up with a massive frontcourt size edge for the Hurricanes. A transition season for Virginia Tech was expected but the team picked up a big November win for Mike Young beating Michigan State. A respectable 5-3 start in ACC play followed but the Hokies have now lost five of the past six while losing four times at home in ACC play. Virginia Tech beat Pittsburgh last weekend to snap a five-game slide but offensive rebounding was a clear problem with the Hokies the worst in the conference on the offensive glass. Virginia Tech takes care of the ball but is a lousy 3-point shooting team despite being more reliant on shots beyond the arc than any team in the ACC. Virginia Tech has also struggled despite opposing teams shooting only 66 percent at the free throw line against them. Miami has played the most difficult ACC schedule at this point in the season and is only one win short of the Hokies who have had one of the lightest conference paths. Another win for the Hurricanes won’t be a surprise in this series.

#651 Canisius +9 over Buffalo 6:00 PM CT

Buffalo has been a force with 59 wins the past two season combined and two NCAA Tournament wins. Last year’s team lost three senior starters however in addition to head coach Nate Oats who is leading Alabama. Under Jim Whitesell the Bulls are 6-4 but with some inconsistency including a win over DePaul but a 13-point home loss over Army in the past two games. The tempo is ultra-fast but this year’s team has lousy shooting numbers, especially from the 3-point arc and the free throw line.

Canisius lost by 15 hosting Buffalo last season and this year’s has rallied to 5-4 after starting 0-2. Wins over Bucknell, St. Bonaventure, and Illinois-Chicago stand out while three of four losses have been single-digit results. This is a great interior scoring team and a defense that excels at defending the 3-point shot and creating turnovers, which could play well in a high-possession game against Buffalo’s pace given a total in the 150s.

Nelly’s has won seven consecutive rated picks in college basketball. We went 2-0 last night and our service plays are 6-0 since Saturday! Don’t miss tonight’s 2-for-1 offer as we add to an already big December coming off a 29-11 December in 2018!

#911/912 ‘OVER 9’ Arizona Diamondbacks (Godley) at Atlanta Braves (Gausman) 6:20 PM CT

Atlanta and Arizona have been middle-of-the-pack performers in the NL so far this season but both offenses have impressed sitting in MLB’s top 7 in team wOBA. Atlanta has drawn walks in 13 percent of its plate appearances for the top rate in baseball while these teams have combined to hit 50 home runs so far this season with Atlanta only 16 games into the season and Arizona just 17 games into the season.

In its second season Sun Trust Park has been a higher scoring field with 9.8 runs per game on average and batters collectively posting an .811 OPS. There have been 29 home runs in 10 Atlanta home games so far this season and on the current home stand several quality starters have struggled including last year’s NL Cy Young winner Jacob deGrom.

[displayProduct type=”carousel” sort=”nameaz” productnamecolor=”#ffffff” pricecolor=”#ffffff” textcolor=”#ffffff” carousel=image,title,price,button,excerpt]

These teams combined for 15 runs last night even with several missed opportunities with a combined 17 men left on base. 10 relievers pitched last night and the bullpen has been a sore spot on both sides with Arizona posting a 6.04 bullpen ERA and the Braves only slightly better a 5.43. The number has climbed to 9 but neither Zack Godley or Kevin Gausman can be counted on for a high end outing with Gausman looking like an early overachiever so far and Godley not resembling the future star Arizona thought they had when he emerged in the 2017 season.

Nelly’s finished the regular season hitting over 66% in the NBA and we are already 3-1 in the playoffs. Don’t miss tonight’s selection for only $15. We are also riding four straight profitable MLB seasons and will officially start our season on Friday.

#519/520 ‘OVER 220.5’ Detroit Pistons at San Antonio Spurs 7:05 PM CT

Detroit has been on an offensive surge on the current 7-1 streak since early February, posting an average of 118 points per game on that span even with recent games against good defensive teams including Boston, Miami, and Indiana. The ‘over’ has collected in seven of those eight games and while today’s total is several points higher than the home meeting with the Spurs in early January, the elevated number is more than justified.

The ‘over’ is 12-2 in the last 14 Spurs games as a San Antonio franchise known for defense has been struggling mightily. On that ‘over’ run the totals in Spurs games have been at least 219.5 in 13 of the past 14 games but hit an over inflated with a 233.5 number in Brooklyn on Monday. That was the final game of a lengthy road trip for San Antonio spanning both sides of the All Star break.

[displayProduct type=”carousel” sort=”nameaz” productnamecolor=”#ffffff” pricecolor=”#ffffff” textcolor=”#ffffff” carousel=image,title,price,button,excerpt]

San Antonio has allowed at least 107 points in 13 of the past 14 games however and opponents have scored 120 or more in six of the past eight games with an average allowance of more than 122 points per game. San Antonio has been one of the league’s best ‘over’ teams at 38-24 on the season and both of these teams have allowed 48 percent shooting over the past five games.

The January meeting between these teams featured 226 points even with Detroit getting only 14 points at the line at home and connecting at just 28 percent from 3-point range. The Spurs shot well for the game but not from beyond the arc and there were few turnovers and only 221 fast break points in the contest as there was certainly room for more scoring.

#749 Northern Arizona +8 over Nebraska-Omaha 7:00 PM CT

After a strong 2016-17 season Nebraska-Omaha fell off a cliff last season finishing 9-22. The Mavericks were one of the worst defensive teams in the nation and didn’t shoot well enough to keep pace with its fast tempo. This year’s team hasn’t looked much more promising, allowing 104 points in the opener at Minnesota before beating division III Buena Vista on Friday. Laying points with the Mavericks is a big risk and this Friday Nebraska-Omaha has a prominent non-conference game with Colorado up next.

[displayProduct type=”carousel” sort=”nameaz” productnamecolor=”#ffffff” pricecolor=”#ffffff” textcolor=”#ffffff” carousel=image,title,price,button,excerpt]

Northern Arizona was just 5-27 last season but the Lumberjacks took on a grueling non-conference schedule with a really young team that featured only one senior on the roster. This year’s team has some experience plus freshman Cameron Shelton who has made an immediate impact as a starter. There is good size and depth on the roster and the 15-point win over Jacksonville in the opener was a very positive sign of progress.

[displayProduct type=”carousel” sort=”newness” productnamecolor=”#ffffff” pricecolor=”#ffffff” textcolor=”#ffffff” carousel=image,title,price,button,excerpt]

Losing by 16 at South Dakota is certainly excusable and that was a three-point game in the second half for a closer contest than the final score. There appears to be clear improvement in Flagstaff this season and this is a lot of points considering how easily most foes have scored on Nebraska-Omaha.

#909 Arizona Diamondbacks (Godley) -115 over San Francisco Giants (Rodriguez) 9:15 PM CT

Zack Godley has 13 wins but a 4.59 ERA for Arizona this season but his FIP is only 3.68 and with a 9.6 K/9 Godley remains a threat for a great outing most nights. His last two starting efforts have featured 14 strikeouts but 11 runs allowed after Godley had allowed just 13 runs over his previous seven starts combined with his ERA 3.79 with a 2.00 FIP over his last nine starts. Godley has had mixed results against the Giants this season but San Francisco has been ice cold at the plate in August.

[displayProduct type=”carousel” sort=”newness” productnamecolor=”#ffffff” pricecolor=”#ffffff” textcolor=”#ffffff” carousel=image,title,price,button,excerpt]

In the past 25 games San Francisco has hit .217 while posting a .589 team OPS with only 14 home runs and averaging 3.4 runs per game. Arizona has dropped four of the last five games including getting shutout in the first two games of this series. They now sit tied with the Rockies in the NL West with the Dodgers now within a game and the Diamondbacks have four games at Dodger Stadium this weekend.

Arizona has a .751 team OPS the past 23 games with steady production. Arizona has improved its numbers vs. right-handed pitching since the trade deadline and Dereck Rodriguez has suspicious numbers in 15 games as a rookie. Rodriguez is 6-1 with a 2.30 ERA but with a 4.07 xFIP, benefiting from a .247 BABIP on the season. Rodriguez has made only three starts in August and Arizona has faced him before which should help the cause Wednesday.

#508 Atlanta Hawks +8.5 over Miami Heat 6:35 PM CT

The Heat lead a three-way tie for the final three spots in the Eastern Conference playoff picture, coming off narrowly defeating the Hawks last night. In a true home-and-home the Heat are in Atlanta tonight and this is a Miami team with one S/U win in the past 12 road games going back to late January. Miami has a great ATS road record for the season but those wins have come almost exclusively as an underdog, going 4-5 ATS on the season as a road favorite with this line set to be the biggest road favorite price of the season for the Heat.

[displayProduct type=”carousel” sort=”nameaz” productnamecolor=”#ffffff” pricecolor=”#ffffff” textcolor=”#ffffff” carousel=image,title,price,button,excerpt]

Atlanta has one of the NBA’s worst records but 16 of the team’s 22 wins have come at home. The host is 3-0 in this series this season and the Hawks were -1.5 when they won by six hosting the Heat earlier this season for a dramatic line swing. Atlanta has a limited roster right now with the loss of a few key players but it is a hungry group ready for the opportunity and playing hard for four quarters.

Miami is 6-14-1 ATS on the season when laying 5 or more points this season and the Hawks won the rebounding battle last night while keeping the turnover count close. Miami shot just 42 percent and only had 11 points at the line but they lost by just three points. The Heat is only playing nine right now as playing on back-to-back nights could be a challenge. Atlanta is 8-5-1 ATS this season playing on back-to-back nights and Miami has far more prominent games remaining in the season’s final three games after this contest.

#591 Air Force +9.5 over UNLV 1:00 PM CT

This game is on UNLV’s home court but the Rebels closed the regular season dropping five games in a row including back-to-back home games. Their last win came against Air Force with a tight 8-point victory on Valentine’s Day with the Falcons fighting back into the game after a bad start, climbing to within a point in the final minutes. Air Force only had two fewer MWC wins than UNLV and most losses were competitive this season.

[displayProduct type=”carousel” sort=”nameaz” productnamecolor=”#ffffff” pricecolor=”#ffffff” textcolor=”#ffffff” carousel=image,title,price,button,excerpt]

As a heavy underdog Air Force is appealing with a very slow pace of play that will disrupt the up-tempo Rebels. Air Force has a very high rate of creating turnovers on defense and while the offense isn’t a strong shooting team they Falcons get to the line often and hit over 74 percent. UNLV is a poor outside shooting team and a squad vulnerable to turnovers and both regular season meetings were very tight in this series.

The advantage of playing at home in the conference tournament is likely negated on day one with an 11:00 AM Las Vegas time start as a sparse crowd is likely on hand for the opening game of the tournament. Only one time in 18 MWC conference games did UNLV win by more than 10 points as this is an appealing price for the Falcons to hang around.

#701 Milwaukee Bucks +2 over Detroit Pistons 6:00 PM CT

In the midst of a long losing streak the Pistons made a splash ahead of the trade deadline acquiring Blake Griffin. The short terms gains were clear with a five-game winning streak but Detroit has fallen in six of the last seven, going from dangerous Eastern Conference sleeper to currently a lottery team, 3.5 games behind Miami for the final postseason spot in the East.

[displayProduct type=”carousel” sort=”nameaz” productnamecolor=”#ffffff” pricecolor=”#ffffff” textcolor=”#ffffff” carousel=image,title,price,button,excerpt]

The Bucks still have a negative scoring differential and are a losing team on the road as a team most expected to make a major leap this season has been underwhelming. A short winning streak could close the gap in the standings however as the Bucks are only three games behind Cleveland for the #3 spot in the Eastern Conference. Milwaukee has lost the past two games by two and three points against playoff caliber competition as the stakes will be elevated tonight at the Palace.

[displayProduct type=”carousel” sort=”newness” productnamecolor=”#ffffff” pricecolor=”#ffffff” textcolor=”#ffffff” carousel=image,title,price,button,excerpt]

Milwaukee has won two of three in this series on the season and Detroit is a losing ATS team at home vs. winning teams. The Pistons are 8-16 ATS this season in closely-lined games with a spread below four either way and Milwaukee is 7-3 ATS on the road vs. losing teams. The Bucks are the clearly superior offensive squad shooting nearly three percent stronger on the season and with three tight games since the break Milwaukee getting points is appealing going against a slumping Detroit squad on a ATS slide.

Close an amazing February with Nelly’s 2-for-1 offer tonight, just $15 as we hope to add two more winners to our 30-11-1 record this month. Maximum Sports has won 8 of 10 in NCAA action as March Madness approaches – get a conference tournament pick as part of today’s 3/5 60% guarantee. Bobby Dalton and Big E also expect to have basketball offers Wednesday night as well, Dalton is 8-3 his last 11 NCAA picks and Big E was a winner last night with his 10* Biggie.

#714 Penn State -3 over Michigan 6:00 PM CT

Penn State has won six of the last eight to make a late season run in Big Ten play, up to 9-7 and 19-10 overall. The Lions have a few bad losses on the resume to overcome and still have plenty of work to do to make a NCAA Tournament case. Penn State has lost three home games this season but they have won the past four home games and have home wins over Nebraska and Ohio State to take out two of the better teams in the conference. After beating the Buckeyes last Thursday Penn State came up just short at Purdue in what could have been a season-making win for the team.

Purdue was gifted a 27-13 edge in free throw attempts and the Lions have 15 turnovers to offset a big rebounding edge for Penn State and continued strong shooting for the Lions. A lot went right for Michigan’s senior day win over rival Ohio State Sunday and a letdown is very possible tonight back on the road in a more critical game for the host. In Sunday’s narrow win for Michigan the Wolverines hit 17 of 24 from the line despite being one of the nation’s least productive and lowest percentage free throw shooting teams. Michigan was crushed on the boards 40-30 including a 15-4 edge for the Buckeyes on the offensive glass but turnovers and missed layups and free throws burned Ohio State.

[displayProduct type=”carousel” sort=”nameaz” productnamecolor=”#ffffff” pricecolor=”#ffffff” textcolor=”#ffffff” carousel=image,title,price,button,excerpt]

Michigan only has four road wins all season and a Wolverines team reliant on 3-point shooting will face a very strong perimeter defense for Penn State that has held foes to just 34 percent shooting from beyond the arc. Michigan’s defensive profile is vastly overrated through non-conference success against nine teams outside the nation’s top 150. Michigan is 20th nationally in defensive efficiency with the season numbers but just seventh in the Big Ten in the conference season through one of the weaker Big Ten slates. Michigan is 11th in the Big Ten in 3-point defense and there should be a good opportunity for Penn State to continue a strong late season run.

Nelly’s won last night in Big XII play to reach 19-6 in February college basketball selections. Join us for tonight’s 2/3 Guarantee for $25 or play through February 28 for just $99. Big E has turned in back-to-back winners for a 10-4 run and a 49-28 long-term run the past two months. Get a guaranteed 10* Biggie play tonight and expect his next 20* tomorrow. Bobby Dalton is on an 8-3 run in Best Bets and he guarantees to win tonight in college basketball with his next 10* – $24.99 pay after you win!
