#642 Oklahoma -3 over TCU 1:00 PM CT

The Sooners are 12-3 through a schedule that ranks as the second toughest in the nation. Oklahoma is a in a key spot on the schedule at home with a 1-2 start in conference play but the losses both came on the road in competitive games vs. the top two rated teams in the conference. Oklahoma’s strong record has come with just five home games, with a 4-0 mark beating five teams all rated in the nation’s top 115 and those wins have all come by nine or more points. TCU lost by nine at Kansas on Wednesday and that is the only top 50 team the Horned Frogs have faced this season. It is also the only time this season that TCU has played a true road game outside of the Dallas/Fort Worth area. This will be a daunting spot on the schedule for a team playing without some of its top players and a team featuring zero top 50 wins on the season. TCU went just 3-6 in Big XII road games last season and lost both meetings with Oklahoma even in a down year for Lon Kruger’s squad. Jamie Dixon’s squad has struggled with free throws and could be exposed in a second straight road game vs. an underrated Oklahoma team that has eight top 100 wins on the season.

Nelly’s Basketball is on a 37-12 run since December 6 including a 19-4 current NBA run and a 12-3 current NCAA run. Get our 2/3 offer for Saturday with an 11-1 record in winning our Saturday 2/3 the past four weeks.

Bobby Dalton has won four of his last five college basketball Best Bets and he has a 10* today for $19.99.

Big E has his next 20* Conference Game of the Year lined up today, a big one in the ACC for $20.94.

#534 Missouri -1.5 over Temple 8:00 PM

Missouri added Illinois transfer Mark Smith this season along with returning seniors Jordan Geist and Kevin Puryear. Cuonzo Martin led this team to 20 wins last season and the NCAA Tournament while playing much of the year without key players and this year’s team has similar potential currently being led by Jeremiah Tilmon who has flourished in an enhanced role so far this season.

[displayProduct type=”carousel” sort=”newness” productnamecolor=”#ffffff” pricecolor=”#ffffff” textcolor=”#ffffff” carousel=image,title,price,button,excerpt]

Missouri is only 3-2 so far this season but the losses came to Iowa State and Kansas State, teams that figure to be top 25 caliber teams all year long. The win over Oregon State in St. Thomas is a decent result and this will be just the second home game in Columbia all season. This squad has posted good defensive numbers through a top 75 schedule so far.

[displayProduct type=”carousel” sort=”nameaz” productnamecolor=”#ffffff” pricecolor=”#ffffff” textcolor=”#ffffff” carousel=image,title,price,button,excerpt]

Temple is 5-1 but only a narrow home win over Georgia stands out. This will be the first true road game of the season for the Owls who played in Brooklyn last week, losing to VCU and beating California, a win that sounds much better than it appears to be at this point. The Owls as usual have a solid defensive profile for Fran Dunphy in his 13th season with the program. The past two seasons Temple is just one game above .500 however and while there is continuity as all five starters were on the roster last season it may again be a limited group with poor outside shooting potential.

#534 Washington PK over Minnesota 5:30 PM CT

The Gophers are 4-0 this season but the schedule has been suspect. Beating Utah and Texas A&M sounds impressive but both of those programs could be in down seasons and both contests were close. Minnesota has shot nearly 41 percent from 3-point range this season which won’t be sustainable as the competition heats up. This is a team with two freshman starters surrounding the veterans and there isn’t great depth on this squad now facing a third game in four days in Vancouver.

[displayProduct type=”carousel” sort=”nameaz” productnamecolor=”#ffffff” pricecolor=”#ffffff” textcolor=”#ffffff” carousel=image,title,price,button,excerpt]

Washington’s only loss this season came vs. an Auburn team that didn’t look out of place vs. top ranked Duke yesterday. The 4-1 Huskies have played top 100 teams in four of five games and while the margins of victory haven’t been overwhelming this is a deliberately-paced squad that leads with defense.

[displayProduct type=”carousel” sort=”newness” productnamecolor=”#ffffff” pricecolor=”#ffffff” textcolor=”#ffffff” carousel=image,title,price,button,excerpt]

The Huskies have a massive edge in free throw shooting in this matchup and will be playing much closer to home. In his first season with Washington the Huskies improved from 9 wins to 21 wins for Mike Hopkins and all five starters from last season are back on the roster this season plus sophomore Hameir Wright who has grown into a starting role after coming off the bench last season.

#615 Louisiana-Lafayette +3.5 over LSU 6:00 PM CT

In a deep and competitive SEC LSU won eight games but this is a Tigers team that lost four home games on the season and has stronger ratings than deserved based on wins over Michigan and Houston that took place very early in the season and grew in stature. Four of LSU’s 17 wins came by three or fewer points as there were few dominant performances and while a program that won just 10 games last season will have some enthusiasm for a NIT bid this is a much bigger game for the underdog.

[displayProduct type=”carousel” sort=”newness” productnamecolor=”#ffffff” pricecolor=”#ffffff” textcolor=”#ffffff” carousel=image,title,price,button,excerpt]

Louisiana-Lafayette was the Sun Belt’s top team with 27 wins but they got caught in a tight game last weekend in the conference tournament. Getting an opportunity against the state’s biggest program will be alluring and the Ragin’ Cajuns have the make-up for an upset. This is a great free throw shooting team and one of the better rebounding teams in the country.

The LSU defense has some matchup opportunities in the paint with a size edge but this was a lousy interior defense on the season with the Tigers the worst 2-point defense in the SEC. Louisiana-Lafayette beat larger conference teams early in the season with wins over Iowa, Richmond, and Louisiana Tech and the Ragin’ Cajuns are 9-0 this season vs. fellow Louisiana schools with this opportunity to take out the biggest power in the state a great chance for the program. This veteran team had hopes for a Big Dance spot but this is a great consolation while an LSU squad with no postseason experience isn’t likely to bring a great enthusiasm for this game even at home.

#853 Rutgers +15 over Purdue 8:00 PM CT

A bye in the conference tournaments isn’t always an ideal situation, especially for highly ranked teams headed for upper tiers seeds in the NCAA Tournament regardless of the conference tournament results. Facing teams coming off Thursday wins Michigan State and Nebraska both looked flat in Big Ten tournament action and the advantage of rest might be negated by a lack of familiarity with the venue with this year’s tournament in Madison Square Garden for the first time.

[displayProduct type=”carousel” sort=”newness” productnamecolor=”#ffffff” pricecolor=”#ffffff” textcolor=”#ffffff” carousel=image,title,price,button,excerpt]

Rutgers won just three Big Ten games on the season but has two Big Ten wins the last two days and this is a tournament the team has been waiting for playing close to home in front of the New York crowd. Rutgers should have good support tonight as a heavy underdog and this is a team that gave Purdue fits in a 78-76 escape for the Boilermakers a month ago.

Purdue has little at stake this week, they can’t become a #1 seed even by winning this tournament as they are very much set in their March position. The Boilermakers have just one double-digit win in the last 10 Big Ten games as they struggled down the stretch compared with a dominant run in late January. Rutgers has been very good at creating turnovers and rebounding and this double-digit spread will likely be magnified with a slow pace of play that could be even more deliberate with Rutgers playing a third game in as many nights.

[displayProduct type=”carousel” sort=”nameaz” productnamecolor=”#ffffff” pricecolor=”#ffffff” textcolor=”#ffffff” carousel=image,title,price,button,excerpt]

#714 Penn State -3 over Michigan 6:00 PM CT

Penn State has won six of the last eight to make a late season run in Big Ten play, up to 9-7 and 19-10 overall. The Lions have a few bad losses on the resume to overcome and still have plenty of work to do to make a NCAA Tournament case. Penn State has lost three home games this season but they have won the past four home games and have home wins over Nebraska and Ohio State to take out two of the better teams in the conference. After beating the Buckeyes last Thursday Penn State came up just short at Purdue in what could have been a season-making win for the team.

Purdue was gifted a 27-13 edge in free throw attempts and the Lions have 15 turnovers to offset a big rebounding edge for Penn State and continued strong shooting for the Lions. A lot went right for Michigan’s senior day win over rival Ohio State Sunday and a letdown is very possible tonight back on the road in a more critical game for the host. In Sunday’s narrow win for Michigan the Wolverines hit 17 of 24 from the line despite being one of the nation’s least productive and lowest percentage free throw shooting teams. Michigan was crushed on the boards 40-30 including a 15-4 edge for the Buckeyes on the offensive glass but turnovers and missed layups and free throws burned Ohio State.

[displayProduct type=”carousel” sort=”nameaz” productnamecolor=”#ffffff” pricecolor=”#ffffff” textcolor=”#ffffff” carousel=image,title,price,button,excerpt]

Michigan only has four road wins all season and a Wolverines team reliant on 3-point shooting will face a very strong perimeter defense for Penn State that has held foes to just 34 percent shooting from beyond the arc. Michigan’s defensive profile is vastly overrated through non-conference success against nine teams outside the nation’s top 150. Michigan is 20th nationally in defensive efficiency with the season numbers but just seventh in the Big Ten in the conference season through one of the weaker Big Ten slates. Michigan is 11th in the Big Ten in 3-point defense and there should be a good opportunity for Penn State to continue a strong late season run.

Nelly’s won last night in Big XII play to reach 19-6 in February college basketball selections. Join us for tonight’s 2/3 Guarantee for $25 or play through February 28 for just $99. Big E has turned in back-to-back winners for a 10-4 run and a 49-28 long-term run the past two months. Get a guaranteed 10* Biggie play tonight and expect his next 20* tomorrow. Bobby Dalton is on an 8-3 run in Best Bets and he guarantees to win tonight in college basketball with his next 10* – $24.99 pay after you win!

#576 Rutgers +16 over Purdue 3:00 PM CT

Purdue is riding 18 consecutive wins with a perfect mark in Big Ten play but they have had close calls with single-digit wins in the past three games. This is a dangerous game facing what is perceived as the worst team in the Big Ten on the road heading to Rutgers Saturday while next on the schedule are conference title deciding contests with Ohio State and Michigan State next week.

[displayProduct type=”carousel” sort=”newness” productnamecolor=”#ffffff” pricecolor=”#ffffff” textcolor=”#ffffff” carousel=image,title,price,button,excerpt]

Purdue won by 31 in early January hosting Rutgers but the Knights have competed well in most home games. Both Big Ten wins came at home as did a nice non-conference upset over Seton Hall. Michigan State won by just 10 in Piscataway while Nebraska won by just six and in non-conference play Florida State won by only five.

Rutgers ranks 17th nationally in defensive efficiency as the underdog points will be appealing with Rutgers able to slow the pace of this game down. The Knights have outstanding turnover numbers on both sides of the ball and have defended the 3-point shot with great success allowing only 32 percent from beyond the arc this season.

[displayProduct type=”carousel” sort=”nameaz” productnamecolor=”#ffffff” pricecolor=”#ffffff” textcolor=”#ffffff” carousel=image,title,price,button,excerpt]

Rutgers has played the second toughest Big Ten schedule at this point in the season while Purdue’s schedule ranks as the second easiest slate. Purdue remains the Big Ten favorite and a national threat but this massive home underdog spread is alluring with the Boilermakers not playing their best games of late and featuring the biggest games of the season up next.

#817 St. Joseph’s +2 over Massachusetts 4:00 PM CT

Saint Joseph’s is only 7-8 on the season but the results have been varied with four top 120 wins on the season including beating A-10 favorite Saint Bonaventure last weekend. On Wednesday the Hawks dropped a game at George Mason for a discouraging 2-point result but this is a good underdog opportunity for a team that has had six of the last seven losses come by six or fewer points with the one exception coming against top ranked Villanova.

[displayProduct type=”carousel” sort=”nameaz” productnamecolor=”#ffffff” pricecolor=”#ffffff” textcolor=”#ffffff” carousel=image,title,price,button,excerpt]

Massachusetts is coming off back-to-back wins by the slimmest of margins and the Minutemen have lost two of the past four home games. Wins over Providence and Georgia stand out but this 9-8 squad has three losses to teams outside the nation’s top 180. Inside scoring can be a problem for the Minutemen who are reliant on 3-point shooting and with the Hawks likely to push the tempo a bit in this matchup the turnover issues for Massachusetts could also show up.

Saint Joseph’s lost three times in close games against Massachusetts last season including a season ending A-10 tournament defeat as this is a game the team will be ready for with a great opportunity for a minor upset.

#573 Virginia Tech +4.5 over Louisville 3:00 PM CT

Louisville has four losses in a transition season with David Padgett now leading the program after a difficult offseason. All four losses came against high quality teams with three of four defeats on the road. The Cardinals are 2-1 in ACC play but Wednesday’s four-point win over Florida State is the only victory of any substance on the season as every other win has come outside the nation’s top 90.

[displayProduct type=”carousel” sort=”newness” productnamecolor=”#ffffff” pricecolor=”#ffffff” textcolor=”#ffffff” carousel=image,title,price,button,excerpt]

Louisville is a very marginal outside shooting team and rebounding is a concern as despite elite height the Cardinals have marginal rebounding figures playing with a rather thin roster. Virginia Tech has rallied for back-to-back wins to reach 2-2 in ACC play with a critical stretch in the season the next two weeks. The Hokies have a week off after this game as this is a critical spot on the schedule to keep the momentum going for Buzz Williams.

This is one of the nation’s best 3-point shooting teams and the effective field goal rate for the Hokies is the second best in the nation at 60 percent. This year’s team has also appeared dramatically improved on defense compared with last season and in a likely up-tempo game the better shooting team should have more opportunities to prevail. Louisville won 94-90 last season at home in this matchup and the Hokies have three top 100 caliber wins away from home already this season while only losing once this season when topping 72 points.

[displayProduct type=”carousel” sort=”nameaz” productnamecolor=”#ffffff” pricecolor=”#ffffff” textcolor=”#ffffff” carousel=image,title,price,button,excerpt]

#657 Utah State +9.5 over UNLV 9:00 PM CT

UNLV is 12-3 on the season for a huge leap after the Rebels won only 11 games last season. The resume is light with no top 50 wins and only two top 100 wins as the Mountain West grind could expose this squad. The conference season has been a challenge so far, losing at home to Boise State and then needing overtime to beat a San Jose State squad that grades as the worst team in the conference.

[displayProduct type=”carousel” sort=”nameaz” productnamecolor=”#ffffff” pricecolor=”#ffffff” textcolor=”#ffffff” carousel=image,title,price,button,excerpt]

Utah State is 9-7 on the season with wins in four of the last five games. The Aggies lost by 20 at San Diego State but have some momentum now with a big win over Fresno State on Wednesday. There is good size and depth on the roster for Tim Duryea and while the team has seven losses five of those defeats have come by 10 or fewer points including competitive games with Gonzaga and BYU.

[displayProduct type=”carousel” sort=”newness” productnamecolor=”#ffffff” pricecolor=”#ffffff” textcolor=”#ffffff” carousel=image,title,price,button,excerpt]

Utah State will embrace UNLV’s frantic pace and poses a threat as a team that shoots a great deal of 3-point shots while making nearly 36 percent of them. The Aggies have had some bad luck with foes hitting more than 75 percent on free throws against them but that likely won’t be a factor in this matchup with UNLV struggling at the line. UNLV picked up one of just four MWC wins last March in the home finale as the Aggies will be up for this revenge opportunity and while Marvin Menzies is leading a nice turnaround in Sin City the lack of experience and the thin roster is starting to show up and this looks like a team to fade laying a big number in league play.

Nelly’s has a guaranteed college basketball 2/3 today with a 26-16 hoops run since December 3! Big E has his next 20* Conference GOY play in the Summit League Saturday afternoon. Bobby Dalton has a college 5* while Maximum has a 7-up offer!

In football Nelly’s has our next NFL 2/3 offer for Saturday & Sunday wild card action after a 61% regular season including an 11-3 run to close the season. Our NFL 2/3 won 11 of 17 weeks and we are 21-9 in the NFL playoffs the past four seasons. Bobby Dalton went 9-2 in the NFL Playoffs last season while Maximum is on a 14-4 two-year run in the NFL postseason!
