#559 Oklahoma City Thunder +3 over Minnesota Timberwolves 7:10 PM CT
Oklahoma City can cut Minnesota’s two-game edge in the Western Conference standings in half with a head-to-head win Saturday night. The Thunder have won S/U in 60 percent of their road games and are +2.0 points per game better than Minnesota in average scoring differential so far this season. These teams have split a pair of meetings so far this season with the host winning S/U in each game but Oklahoma City is +20 in net scoring in those games. The Wolves have won four in a row but Minnesota has played Portland, Detroit, and Memphis on the current streak. This is the final game on a tough four-game road trip for the Thunder, who got a needed win vs. a surging Jazz team Thursday night after a pair of losses in Los Angeles. Oklahoma City should be at its best for this game in a homecoming contest for Chet Holmgren, who had just a modest performance in the narrow loss in Minneapolis earlier this season. The Wolves shot over 42 percent from 3-point range had had significant free throw edge in that game yet barely snuck out the win and the price remains similar for this big Saturday game.
