The Bears were blown out Sunday night in Green Bay to erase the big win in monsoon conditions hosting San Francisco. Chicago has been outgained by more than 300 yards combined in two games including a 100 yard rushing deficit despite having a mobile quarterback. Chicago has averaged only 216 yards per game while scoring 29 combined points as this is a team with one of the 29th ranked QB Rating quarterback in Justin Fields now laying points. Houston is also winless but the Texans have faced two expected AFC contenders and held their own, tying the Colts and playing a close game with Denver last week. Chicago is on a 6-11 ATS run when laying points since 2019 and the Texans have provided a significant edge in run defense which seems critical to this pairing with Chicago allowing 5.1 yards per rush. Houston has held opposing quarterbacks to the sixth worst QB Rating in the league through two weeks while Davis Mills has not thrown an interception despite facing two high-end defensive teams.
