Free Pick NFL Week 16: #467 Atlanta Falcons +6.5 over Baltimore Ravens 12:00 PM CT

We had Atlanta +7.5 in our Green Sheet with an early week prediction, the line has come down with Lamar Jackson ruled out but the Falcons may still be worth a look. Desmond Ridder lost his first career start last week, posting only 3.7 yards per attempt though providing a bit of a rushing presence. Atlanta leaned on the ground game last week posting 231 rushing yards to lose but cover in New Orleans. Baltimore surrendered its AFC North lead with last week’s loss though the Ravens do have a full week turnaround after playing Saturday, unlike Atlanta. Baltimore’s three-point effort last week has some footnotes as the Ravens had a yardage edge in Cleveland behind Tyler Huntley but had two turnovers, went 0-2 in the red zone, and missed two field goals. It will be windy in Baltimore Saturday as both teams are likely to be attacking on the ground with the rush defense edge rather dramatic in favor of the Ravens. Headlined by Jackson of course, there are big names on the injury report for Baltimore and the Falcons and a consistent ground attack has some appeal against backup quarterback and a reeling Ravens team that has fallen from its perch on top of the AFC North.
