This game presents a nice marketplace window based on Week 1 reactions. The Packers put up big numbers in the opener with good play from Jordan Love and rookie Sean Clifford, posting the high score for the weekend. New England in contrast had dismal production in Thursday’s home loss with both games being visible TV contests. Bill Belichick has plenty of coaching history to dig through and his teams are 10-2 S/U and 9-3 ATS in preseason Game 2 since 2010. Belichick teams are also on a 6-1 S/U and ATS run following a preseason loss. Matt LaFluer has a losing career record in the preseason and the Patriots get an extra day in the turnaround this week after playing Thursday night in Week 1. Bailey Zappe had good numbers in the opener, and it wouldn’t be a surprise if Mac Jones played this week as he played in a 10-point week 2 win for the Patriots last season after a Week 1 loss. At +3 or higher the Patriots are worth a look as they have only been +3 or higher in the preseason four times since 2015, going 3-1 ATS with the only miss last week.
