#743 Niagara +4.5 over Saint Peter’s 6:00 PM CT
Niagara has lost five in a row and came up short in Sunday’s final home game vs. Manhattan. The final two games of the regular season are both on the road but they will be favorable matchups for the Purple Eagles to get back in the win column. Niagara won 70-60 hosting Saint Peter’s in January and while the Peacocks are 4-2 in the past six games, two of those wins came by very slim margins. Saint Peter’s has the worst effective field goal rate in the MAAC and the second worst turnover rate as the offense can really struggle at times. Niagara is the top 2-point scoring team in the conference at nearly 55 percent, or almost 13 percent better than Saint Peter’s for a massive chasm in comparing the interior scoring potential of these teams. In the first meeting Niagara missed nine free throws and had 16 turnovers but still won by double digits. Saint Peter’s has won three home games in a row but is just 3-5 S/U in conference home games and with some of the worst shooting results in the entire nation, the Peacocks are a risky team to lay points with.
