#537 Utah Jazz +17.5 over Boston Celtics 6:40 PM CT

The Jazz fell to 15-49 on Sunday, losing in Philadelphia, making this a fourth straight road game while also playing on back-to-back days. Utah has five S/U wins since February 1 and in 18 games in that span the Jazz have only four losses by more than 17 points as there have been many competitive games in recent weeks even in a challenging season. Utah has S/U wins over the Lakers, Rockets, and Timberwolves in the last month as well. The defending NBA champions are coming off Saturday’s high-profile win over the Lakers at home in what was a third game in four days. Next on the schedule is a massive NBA Finals preview possibility with the Thunder visiting Boston. The Celtics are without Kristaps Porzingis while Jayson Tatum has been nursing a knee issue and missed Wednesday’s game last week before putting up 75 combined points Friday and Saturday. This seems like a possible rest day for Tatum or other key players and the Celtics are only 1-4 ATS this season as a favorite or more than 15 points. Boston does have 18 wins by at least 18 points this season as the Celtics are capable of producing a blowout, but only four of those results have come since February 1. This is set to be the second largest underdog spread of the season for the Jazz, and while Utah lacks appealing traits and is battling several possible roster absences Monday, the Jazz have scored at least 109 points in seven of the past nine games while on an 11-7 ATS run since February 1. This is far from an ideal spot on the schedule for the Celtics with the high-profile home date and a revenge spot with the Thunder up next.
