#508 Atlanta Hawks +6 over Sacramento Kings 6:40 PM CT

The Hawks have gone from 2-0 to 2-3 with back-to-back losses to the Wizards. Back at home Atlanta should be a threat to stall the winning streak for the Kings, with Sacramento now 2-2 after starting 0-2. The Kings beat Portland and Utah and have played one of the weaker schedules in the league at this point. This will be a second straight road game after winning in Salt Lake City Tuesday and the Kings have had a sizeable disparity in their home and road results the past two seasons. Sacramento finished 46-36 last season but had the worst scoring differential of the Western Conference playoff teams. Atlanta is shorthanded tonight with Dyson Daniels, Deā€™Andre Hunter, and Bogdan Bogdanovic out of action but the Hawks competed well with the current roster on Wednesday despite the loss as Washington had an exceptional shooting game. David Roddy has made the most of his opportunity with the Hawks this season while top draft pick Zaccharie Risacher put up 17 points in the last game. Opponents have shot a league high 42.1 percent from 3-point range against the Hawks, part of that is a suspect Atlanta defense, but it is also an unsustainably high rate that has worked against Atlanta in the first five games.
