#908 Colorado Rockies +105 over Miami Marlins (Cabrera) 7:40 PM CT
The Rockies haven’t announced a clear pitching plan today with Ryan Feltner and Noah Davis on the IL as the staff will be in less than ideal form this week after a run of short starts and 31 runs allowed over the weekend at Texas. Chase Anderson is an option and he pitched well in his last start after recently joining the Rockies. Road favorite pricing at Coors Field for Edward Cabrera doesn’t feel right however with command a major problem for the 25-year-old. Cabrera has a 12.3 K/9 but a 6.7 BB/9 and a 1.59 WHIP this season. The Rockies are batting .274 with 6.1 runs per nine vs. right-handers in the past 10 games. Miami has averaged just 3.8 runs per nine in the past five games and the Marlins remain the worst scoring team in MLB for the season, averaging 3.5 runs per game. Miami has topped five runs in May just twice in 18 games, reaching six in both instances and the record for the Marlins is inflated with a 15-2 record in one-run results so far this season. Colorado has scored 5.4 runs per nine at home this season, a figure Miami has not consistently been able to reach. Colorado has 10 wins in Denver this season and is stronger than the Marlins in scoring differential despite the contrasting records this season.
