#134 Connecticut -5.5 over Buffalo 11:00 AM CT
Connecticut is 2-2 this season but the next two weeks should provide favorable home game opportunities for the Huskies. Connecticut blasted Florida Atlantic last week and the loss to Duke two weeks ago was very competitive, leading heading into the 4th quarter. Connecticut did have 310 yards in the opener against Maryland as well despite only one score as three turnovers were costly in boosting the margin of defeat. Connecticut is 2-0 at home and has gone 10-4 ATS at home since 2022 under Jim Mora. Buffalo had the fortune of playing Northern Illinois in the game after the Huskies had a historic upset win. The Bulls were blown out last week in the box score, managing only 186 total yards and nine first downs but in a typical wild MAC game, Buffalo won in overtime. Buffalo owns a surprising 3-1 record but there isn’t much quality in the win column with the other wins against Massachusetts and FCS Lafayette. Missouri didn’t pad the scoreboard in a 38-0 win against the Bulls with a 518-169 edge in yards either. Buffalo now faces a second straight road game coming off a fortunate result with a lower underdog number than would have been expected just a few weeks ago.
