#531 Memphis Grizzlies +14.5 over Oklahoma City Thunder 6:30 PM CT

The Thunder crushed Memphis in Game 1, winning by 51. That was an incredibly difficult turnaround for Memphis who played late Friday night in an elimination game at home before facing a day game Sunday on the road vs. the top seeded Thunder. The outcome was decided quickly, and Memphis didn’t play any of its starters for more than 29 minutes with 12 different players getting their feet wet with at least 12 minutes on the court. The lopsided result may prove beneficial to the chances for Memphis to steal a game and make this a competitive series. Oklahoma City took 48 3-point shots and shot only 35 percent but that was more than enough to best Memphis shooting 6-34 from 3-point range for below 18 percent. The Grizzlies are likely to shoot better Tuesday night and Memphis held its own in rebounding in the game. The Grizzlies have now lost 10 straight head-to-head games with Oklahoma City, but this will be the second highest favorite price of any of those games. #1 seeds are just 12-15-1 ATS as a double-digit favorite in Game 2 of the first round and 1st round teams that win and cover in Game 1 at home are just 14-21-1 ATS when laying 10 or more points in Game 2 including 11 S/U losses. The Thunder have an amazing home record this season but playoff teams with favorite spreads of 14 or higher are quite rare and those teams have gone just 12-16 ATS since 1993.
