#463/464 OVER 42.5 Buffalo Bills at Washington Commanders 12:00 PM CT
Washington has put up 55 points in a 2-0 start despite facing decent defensive opposition. New offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy has delivered an impressive start as Sam Howell has solid numbers, completing nearly 66 percent of his passes while with the Commanders offering decent run balance led by Brian Robinson. The defense had good numbers in the opener but still allowed 16 points to Arizona. Last week a Broncos offense that has been dormant for much of the last year posted 33 points and 6.4 yards per play against Washington. Washington held on to win but was +2 in turnovers and needed to hold off a tying 2-point conversion with there being a case that the Commanders got away with pass interference on the final play. After a tough first week and a slow start last week, Buffalo woke up with five touchdown drives in the middle of the game for a blowout win in the home opener. The Raiders surprisingly had 6.2 yards per play last week despite managing only 10 points while Zach Wilson played reasonably well against Buffalo in Week 1 despite brutal numbers last week, as Buffalo’s defense may be worse than the current scoring numbers suggest. Both teams likely have a turnover risk in this pairing and with a total priced below the key numbers of 43 and 44, the ‘over’ has potential with the early week scare of tropical storm weather impact likely minimal during the game time hours Sunday.
