Ohio has a pair of wins this season but the defense has been problematic. Last week the Bobcats allowed only 31 points for their best scoring defense performance of the season but they allowed 736 yards and 36 first downs as the scoring allowed should have been significantly higher. Akron was competitive in its MAC opener last week losing by three while outgained by just 14 yards hosting Bowling Green. The Zips have only one S/U win in this series in the last 14 tries but are 5-2 ATS in the past seven meetings including three straight covers on the road. The Bobcats are on a brutal 1-9 ATS run as a home favorite since 2019 and are likely worth fading again this week as the defense could be among the worst in the nation.
