FREE PICK WEDNESDAY: #718 Fordham +6.5 over Rice 5:00 PM CT
Rice is 4-2 but they don’t have a win in the top 200 this season. After starting this Florida event with a triple-overtime 109-104 win over Evansville, the Owls drew Oakland yesterday and were flat from the start, falling behind quickly and never recovering. Rice does not have a deep rotation and facing a third game in three days now playing as a favorite will be a challenge for a team that struggles defensively. Scott Pera’s team had a 15-13 record last season but went only 6-10 in Conference USA, featuring six wins vs. Division II teams or bottom 20 Division I teams. Fordham isn’t a top 200 team by any stretch but the early returns for new head coach Kyle Neptune has been promising. The Rams beat Akron to start this event and competed well yesterday with a decent Delaware team losing by only 10. Fordham had a 36-18 free throw attempt deficit yesterday, but the Rams have had a strong 3-point defense this season. A former Jay Wright assistant, Neptune has decent returning roster to work with and this group may be underrated and underpriced today, particularly in a three-games-in-three-days setting that may lead to fatigue and lesser shooting all around. Rice is the superior offense here, but the Owls have not had a win by more than five points in the past three games and a group with limited experience will have to follow-up two emotional games with a different style of matchup on Wednesday.
Join the BIG E for MAC Football and College Basketball with Tuesday Night Biggies for $9.94 each!
Big E is already 10-5 this season in college hoops and he is playing one of the final MACtion games!
Check back tomorrow for the Top 5 Ticket, an offer that has gone 3-2 or better in EIGHT weeks in a row!
Consider his BOWLS-&-B-BALL OFFER for the best value!
Nelly’s Green Sheet Issue #20 for Thanksgiving Week will be sent out by Wednesday Night! Key Selections have gone 7-5 or better four straight weeks!
Expect Thanksgiving football releases to be released by Wednesday afternoon!

FREE PICK SUNDAY: #465 Houston Texans +10 over Tennessee Titans 12 PM CT
Houston has lost eight straight games but six of those games were played with Davis Mills at quarterback. The two losses in which Tyrod Taylor played were respectably close games including outgaining Miami two weeks ago but losing in a one-score game. The Dolphins are trending upward despite a poor record and Taylor showed some rust with turnover issues. Now with two weeks to further recover and full practice reps, the offense should be in its best form since the strong season opening result. Few will still want to support one of the worst teams in the NFL against the team with the best record in the AFC as the Titans are greatly overpriced in Week 11. Tennessee is the most accomplished team in the NFL with several quality wins, but it has been a charmed run and the offense has been incredibly limited in the last few games despite picking up wins. Tennessee was outgained by 111 yards last week hosting the Saints but found a way to win while the Titans were outgained by 153 yards in the upset over the Rams, effectively being handed two touchdowns on interceptions in that game. The Titans are 4-1 at home this season but only once have won by double-digits and injuries are catching up as Julio Jones and Derrick Henry are out and the offensive line is beat up with a few reserves in line to possibly start. The defense that has surprised this season also is littered with injuries as it is possible that six defensive starters could miss this week’s game. Division games are certainly a different animal and Tennessee is 9-17 ATS in this series since 2008 and this will be the biggest favorite price ever for the Titans against the Texans. Houston had had a yardage edge or deficit of 35 yards or fewer in three of the past five games and the schedule has been stiff as Miami was the first team the Texans have faced since Week 1 that currently has a losing record. A huge game with the Patriots lurks next week to add to the challenge for the Titans as any players that are borderline health-wise will likely be kept out. An 8-2 Titans squad that is a bottom 10 team in the NFL in passing and pass defense and a below average team in production on both sides of the ball could get exposed as the mediocre team most expected to see this season.

FREE PICK SATURDAY: #388 Tulsa -21.5 over Temple 3 PM CT
Tulsa is just 4-6 on the season but they have had competitive losses to Oklahoma State, Ohio State, and Cincinnati on the road, three of the top nine teams in the current CFP rankings. Tulsa needed overtime to beat Tulane last week and the three AAC wins have all been one-score games. It has been a brutal schedule path for the Golden Hurricane and this is a team that still projects much stronger than its record. This should be the most favorable opportunity of the season with the most similar game the home win over Arkansas State early in the season. Tulsa won only 41-34 in that game but had a 663-359 edge in yardage and ended the game right outside the end zone. Temple had a big win over Memphis early in the season but since that game the Owls have lost five in a row by a combined score of 217-35. The run did include Cincinnati and Houston but also a few middle-of-the-pack teams that grade similarly to Tulsa. Original starting QB D’Wan Mathis has already entered the transfer portal and his replacement Justin Lynch has struggled with the worst QB Rating among regulars in the conference. Temple is only gaining 3.8 yards per rush and Lynch with only 288 yards in part-time action is the team’s leading rusher as this is an incredibly limited offense that will have a difficult time if forced to play behind in the passing game. Temple’s defense is one of the worst rush defenses in the nation surrendering 222 yards per game and 5.2 yards per carry. With the exception of Navy, Tulsa has outrushed four straight opponents by significant margins, posting at least 194 rushing yards in four of the past five games. Davis Brin has been mistake-prone at quarterback for Tulsa but in this matchup he should be able to lean on the ground game and mostly throw in favorable situations as Tulsa could reach its full potential this week. At 4-6 this team still has a shot to win out to reach a bowl game coming off going 6-3 last season and this home finale should provide the team with a great opportunity for a strong result, even at a price that is uncomfortable for a team with no lopsided wins on the season.
