FREE PICK #566 Detroit Pistons -1.5 over Orlando Magic 6:10 PM CT

Detroit has the worst record in the Eastern Conference while Orlando sits just a game ahead of the Pistons as there it would be hard to find less meaningless game in the final two weeks of the regular season. Detroit has shown a bit of recent life however with three wins since mid April and a few other competitive results. Detroit didn’t play on Sunday and has a three-game home stand with winnable games this week with this contest the best opportunity. Orlando is still missing its coach Steve Clifford who isn’t cleared to return to the team until Wednesday’s game. The Magic roster has been overturned this season but this quad surprisingly has two recent wins beating Cleveland last Wednesday and stunning Memphis on Saturday. Few teams have quit on the season like the Cavaliers who were also short-handed for that game. The Memphis win on Saturday after scoring only 75 points vs. the Grizzlies the previous day to help set-up the surprise result. Memphis crushed Orlando on the boards but had turnover issues and the Magic shot nearly 10 percent better from 3-point range while also +12 in points at the line. These teams split in February but it is worth noting that the Pistons are a winning ATS team including going 16-12-1 ATS at home. The Pistons have a winning record as a favorite and are 8-4 ATS at home vs. losing teams. These teams don’t warrant a serious investment but it does figure to be a favorable spot to get more out of the Pistons even if this isn’t a team that one will feel comfortable laying points with.

Green Sheet Issue #1 should be out in the near future as well!
