The Big E’s big play yesterday wound up with a PUSH for most though a few late players may have netted a half-point win. His squad was in control almost the entire game and had doubled up the small favorite spread in the final minutes before a tough final series left it as a tie. Big E won his 20* on Friday and has still won five of his past six 20* picks. His next big play goes on Saturday.

The Big Dog Bobby Dalton had a NHL winner on Friday and he has posted EARLY and LATE packages for college basketball on a big mid-February slate. Dalton has won his last two 10* picks in college hoops and has a strong 7* record on the hardwood this season.

There are just a few weeks left to join Nelly’s in football for 2021-22 at EARLY BIRD DISCOUNTS!

FREE PICK: #668 Fordham +17 over Saint Louis 2:30 PM CT

2-10 Fordham is certainly a mess but the Rams have some appeal as a heavy home underdog as one of the slowest tempo teams in the nation. Fordham won its last home game and has a notable home win over Dayton this season while a home game vs. a similar caliber St. Bonaventure team was reasonably competitive. After an ugly road loss Wednesday this could be a spot where the defense plays well. Saint Louis has grinded out a pair of wins to reach 2-2 in league play. After not playing almost all of January the Billikens started 0-2 but turned in a pair of narrow home wins in the last week over decent competition. A win today would be the first road win of the season for Saint Louis and while that is likely to happen, the Billikens did lose at La Salle in early February, the team just ahead of Fordham in the rankings. Saint Louis has struggled in 3-point defense, allowing 39 percent, dead last in A-10 play through the small sample. Fordham isn’t a good 3-point shooting team but that hasn’t stopped the Rams from heaving up a high volume of outside looks and a few makes could be enough to keep the Rams within this spread. +17 with a total below 130 is always going to be worth a look with both defenses averaging scores in the mid-60s. This is larger spread than in any of the past six meetings and Saint Louis won by only three in the last visit here. Last year Saint Louis held Fordham to only 39 points at home but still wouldn’t have covered today’s spread to illustrate how significant this number is. Fordham is quietly 4-2 ATS in the past six games while Saint Louis is 1-5 ATS in the past six.
