Free Pick for Saturday Basketball : #652 Villanova -11 over Providence 1:30 PM CT

Villanova barely got by Seton Hall on Tuesday in its return to action after nearly a month off. The Wildcats got the job done to reach 4-0 in Big East play and now has six top 100 wins, four of which have come by nine or more points. The Wildcats have the lowest turnover rate in college basketball and great shooting numbers all over the floor. Providence could be in for a letdown after an upset at Creighton on Wednesday. This is incredibly going to be a fourth straight road game for the Friars for a rare scheduling challenge and the Friars lack appeal as a heavy underdog as a very poor 3-point shooting team. They will likely have a significant deficit beyond the arc and in turnovers in this game and with Villanova being a 75 percent free throw shooting team, climbing back in this game late will be difficult. Villanova has had a light path in conference play so far but the close call earlier in the week should provide a wake-up call and the team should be better suited for game speed today.
