Weekly Wizard has claimed his third ELIMINATOR CONTEST title going 14-6-2 with the Broncos beating the Steelers last week the difference-maker in the final week. Weekly Wizard was also the champion in 2008 and 2011 and his NFL picks turned in great results in the contest this season, winning his Double Play in five straight weeks to close the contest.
In his first season participating BB Documented Plays turned in a strong runner-up finish, starting the contest 12-5-1 with great Double Play results before falling just behind Weekly Wizard in the finish.
It was a strong contest overall with only four of 18 contestants finishing with a losing record and Double Plays collectively going 81-64-5 over a lengthy 11-week contest. Point Train, Big E Sports Ticket, ASA, James Patrick Sports, Billy Coleman, Scott Rickenbach, and Marc Lawrence all deserve credit for making it nine weeks in the contest, which sometimes is enough to win, with the 11-week run the longest contest we’ve had since 2015.
